Jennifer Gagnon, CNM
I have been a midwife since 2000 and have worked in the home and hospital setting. I received a BS and MS in nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. My nursing experience includes working in labor and delivery at two of Cleveland's high risk hospitals, MetroHealth Medical Center and University Hospitals of Cleveland. My midwifery career brought me to Chicago and I worked with a home birth service and two hospital based services. I helped grow A Woman's Place beginning in 2004 and have owned it since 2007. My goal is to educate women with evidence based information and my experience, and ultimately leave the choice to them. I consider my role to be that of expert advisor and lifeguard.
